Every MBA aspirant is well aware of the fact that if he wants to get admission in top MBA colleges, he needs to score well in CAT, national level MBA entrance exam.
But do you know, CAT is not the only way to get into top MBA colleges. There are other MBA entrance exams too that is accepted by many top MBA colleges in India.
Here is the list of top MBA entrance exams other than CAT that you can take:
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)
Conducted by AICTE, CMAT is the national level management entrance test and held in January every year. The exam is accepted by more than 500 MBA institutes across India.
CMAT 2019 exam will be held on January 28, 2019 and the duration of the exam will be 3 hrs.
CMAT tests the candidate’s aptitude in four main sections which includes
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)
Conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, XAT is a computer-based management aptitude test and is accepted by around 150 B-Schools across the country. The entrance exam is conducted in an online mode and is of 180 minutes duration.
XAT 2019 will be held on January 6, 2019.
XAT tests the candidate on four fronts:
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP)
SNAP is a national level management entrance exam and is conducted by Symbiosis International University for admission into 15 Symbiosis institutes.
SNAP is an objective computer-based test and will be held on 16 December, 2018 this year.
SNAP test is two hours entrance test and tests a candidate’s ability in the following:
Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT)
IBSAT is a computer-based management aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education for admission into MBA and PhD programs at 9 ICFAI Business School (IBS) campuses – Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
IBSAT 2018 is going to held on December 22 – 23, 2018.
IBSAT is held for two hours duration and tests the applicant’s ability in the following:
Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
Conducted by All India Management Association, MAT is the prestigious management entrance examination held in both online and offline mode. MAT scores are accepted by more than 600 B-Schools across India.
The test is conducted four times in a year – February, May, September and December.
Held for 150 minutes, the test is conducted in both online and offline mode and has 200 questions. The aspirant is tested in the following five areas:
Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test (TISSNET)
TISSNET exam is a national level examination and is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) for admission into all Masters programmes offered in TISS-Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut, and G-SET Ranchi.
The exam is held for 1 hour & 40 minutes.
TISSNET 2019 exam is going to take place on January 13, 2019.
