MAT Preparation Tips- How To Prepare For MAT 2019

Management Aptitude Test (MAT 2019) is all India level MBA entrance examination to get admission into top MBA colleges of India. Every year, a large number of MBA aspirants appear for this examination.

MAT exam held four times in a year in February, May, September and December. The minimum eligibility to appear in MAT exam is graduation from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. Students studying in their final year of graduation may also apply for MAT exam.

MAT Feb 2019 will be on 17th February 2019 (PBT) and 23rd February 2019 (CBT).

Registration for MAT 2019 has already been started. The last date to apply for MAT 2019 Feb exam is 8th February 2019 (PBT) and 12th February 2019 (CBT).

Here are some of the tips and tricks to prepare for MAT 2019:

    1. Time Management

Build your daily study schedule in such a way that you can give equal attention to every subject.

It’s important to focus on each subject as marks weight age of each section is equal i.e: 40 marks allotted to each of the 5 sections.

  1. Self Study

Self-study is the best preparation strategy. It is an important aspect of effective learning.

So, it’s very crucial to give your last days of MAT 2019 exam preparation to self-study as it will help you in clearing your concepts and scoring good marks.

  1. Be Confident and Calm

Have confidence in yourself and don’t panic in last some days of your exam. Don’t try to learn anything new, instead revise all topics which you have already done to hold the strong grip of those previously learned topics.

Also, take good care of your health. Don’t miss your meals and take sufficient food and drink an adequate amount of water.

  1. Practice mock papers

Practice mock papers or solve previous exam papers to get ideation of MAT 2019 exam pattern. Try to solve mock papers and question papers in a short duration of time as it will help you in increasing your speed of solving questions. This also helps in boosting your confidence.

  1. Revision

Try to complete your syllabus some days before MAT 2019 examination date so that you get a sufficient amount of time for revision. Due to MAT 2019 lengthy syllabus, chances are high that you get confused in the exam if you don’t revise.  

Assign your last 2 or 3 days only for revision purpose, it will definitely help you to get good marks.
